Ivie – my sweet, loud, caring, loving, compassionate and confident little fire cracker. She was always so loud and confident but now she’s really into the girly things. Baby dolls, playing mums and dads, wanting make up, dancing around and thinking she is a professional ballet dancer. Which she’s never done a ballet class before.
I asked Ivie what she wanted in her room. She was sharing her room with Ayden and sleeping her toddler bed so it was going to be her transition to her big girls room. Stlying the room again was my friend Tara. She organised items for the room and we exchanged ideas of what we could make work.
We made this room with two things in mind.
- Ivie loves pretty things.
- Floor space so she could play with her smaller toys away from her younger siblings.
Wallpaper! Once again I’m drawn to having it in the bedrooms. We have lexicon coloured walls and light floor boards throughout the whole house. I feel as though wallpaper really brings out that part of room. Tara designed this one. So many people have asked me about it and its from Soft Interiors. The colours are amazing! Her first big girl bed (as she likes to call it) is from This little love. This bed is super cute especially when covered in beautiful linen and cushions.
We had another doll from Upperdhali made and Ivie is involve with her.
She sits on her bed and apparently makes sure her sister stays out her room.
The dress is made of blue tulle and the details that went into making her are beyond what I could even imagine being able to do.
Ivie spends a lot of time in here. Mostly because Indie is extra helpful with pulling out her toys and making a mess. Her rug from Coppola home gives her the warmth and comfort for sitting on the floor. Its made super thick and the details are amazing! We used Mocka draws again for this room as we’ve used in the nursery and Indies room. I find they’re cheap and valuable.
Her doll house is from Mint Rhapsody same as her and Indies shelves.
The best thing about this doll house its that its different from others.
Its easy to clean and there are no hiding things that I can’t see – kids!
Ivie had a portrait drawn my One Sonny Day which is breathe taking!
You need to see the photo vs the drawing its amazing!
I’ll show you all on IG stories soon enough.
